Thirteen New Movie Trailers for October 2026 with Comments

October’s New Movie Tralers
October for most means horror movies. What’s your horror theme this year?
Ours, this year, is the terrifying real-life news. We’re in store for a month of news insanity as mid-terms approach. A true horror we can fight against.
Cat Mate 002 (Bootsey) ratted out the best of the October trailers to help you make up your mind about new movies. We were excited for possibly good horror movies. Nope. We watched the reel a week ago & immediately forgot about them.
Again, saved by Bootsey with the reminder. An extra hour of Bird Theater & A Gravy Glove petting for you. Thanks, Boots.
Feels like the second month of nothing too exciting.

Here’s our thoughts:
NO
Seems like an average slasher, nothing new.
A poodle breeder moves on to breeding humans. Might be good, unable to tell from trailer.
Seems liken an average bug movie, nothing new.
Ok, so, Anne’s in a wheelchair with ghost writer Dakota & lots of promised twists. Our guess about plot: The first 3/4 is pretty enveloping with a very, very dumb twist ending. Like that time in A Simple Favor, the bad guy is just randomly hit by a car like an episode of a Mexican soap or Grey’s Anatomy.
MAYBE
The last Borat movie turned out to be a pleasant, funny surprise. We hate the character Ali G. The character always seemed racist & like an extra in Pretty Fly for a White Guy. Starts with WH, ends with a slur. A character out of relevance. We like Bruno more. The trailer had some decent jokes & like Borat, they added a female companion.
Some The State people in this, but not a State-created movie. This year’s Christmas Horror Comedy.
Of the Maybes, this may be a yes. A Cuckoo Clock opens up liminal-land. Could be good.
A comedy about a rich alien. (?)
A horror movie about deep fakes screwing up the world. Like the idea, has possibilities.
The Only Living Pickpocket in New York:
John Turturro is the reason to see this heist gone wrong flick.
Real Ab Fab feel. Crazy, free, rich British woman.
YES
We like Fielder. Three hours of cringe may be too much. A friend spoiled a giant twist not hinted at in the trailer & we’re not sure how we feel about it. However, this month, we want to see a documentary in the theater, maybe two.
Musk:
We’re fans of Alex Gibney. (Enron, Going Clear) He always makes compelling, visually interesting docs. Plus, take the mother fucker down, Alex.
Crok AI is the reason The Fiesta 13 waits until the last minute to do The New Movie Reel. They’re our forced sponsor.
But screw them. We hate them with a corrosive passion. We wanted to share a scrapped Crok AI project:
Crokipedia CEO.

In January, A Crok VP, the lead Scrape-a-teer at Crok had an idea.
Let’s use Super-Duper Intelligence to optimize our CEO’s and make more money. The VP scraped every known business book from A King’s Ransom by Henry the Eighth to Don’t look Inside Yourself by Marc Andressen.
He asked one question: How do we optimize profits with our CEOs?
Super-Duper Intelligence spit out a simple idea. Cut CEO pay & stock options by ten percent. Use the ten percent for infrastructure and workers’ pay. While, the first quarter would see a dip in projections, every quarter after the first, profits rise by eight percent for the first five years.
After submitted, The Ghost of Old Man Blayne in The Machine immediately cancelled the project.
Obvious reasons.
Crok AI decided to double-down on the LOVE Project.
